Global Meetings & Events

The Global Meetings & Events (GME) service is a new Global Commercial Operations (GCO) service focused on creating an enterprise-wide approach to meetings management logistics for HCP/Customer-facing, non-field-led events with heavy logistical elements, including but not limited to congresses, investigator meetings, national sales meetings, and more.

Built with the proven effectiveness of strategic meeting management programs against our unprecedented growth and anticipated increase in demand, GME service provides end-to-end management of key planning milestones, as well as oversight for execution, compliance, and financial processes. In addition, a “surround sound” service team is now available to provide in-house delivery for registration websites, meeting apps, reporting, and the use of virtual cards. Our resources are working in concert across our regional hubs and local markets to streamline and optimize the way we conduct meetings at AstraZeneca.
